Hamamelis x Girard's Orange #7

A spreading, deciduous shrub known for its fragrant yellow-orange flowers from late January to March. Tolerant of a wide range of soils and light levels, it needs moisture-retentive soil and protection from dry winds. Place this plant in the landscape so that a dark background behind it can accentuate the flowers. Dark green foliage turns yellow-orange-red in fall. Supports early pollinators like bees, plus provides winter visual interest.
