Dwarf, compact Japanese umbrella pine with clusters of succulent, glossy, dark green needles that radiate outwardly in a distinctive star-like pattern from the branches. Winter hardy, strong stocky branches make it better able to stand up to snow. Makes stunning focal point in a full sun location with moist, acidic soil.
