Mahjong Cocktails Pink Blue Background Large Notepad by Rosanne Beck

Cocktails and mahjong tiles on a pink and blue ground, on a pad with actual room to work: 5.5 by 8.5 inches, forty sheets, and made in the USA rather than sourced from a novelty catalog.

Mahjong groups keep records, and this is a better surface for them than the back of an envelope or a phone note nobody can read later. The large format takes a full hand, a running score, and the side conversation about who is hosting next.

It also solves the recurring problem of what to bring the person holding the table that week, for anyone who has already given her coasters twice.
