Fruit-Persimmon-Hachiya #7

Large, acorn-shaped fruit is deep orange when ripe, and very sweet and flavorful. Great dried. Astringent until ripened. Shiny green leaves exhibit vivid fall color and the orange fruits persist long into fall. Needs 200 chill hours below 45F to set fruit. Multiple uses in cooking and baking. Self-pollinating.
