Deciduous shrub or small tree that thrives in a variety of soil types and moisture conditions. In spring, it produces clusters of fragrant white flowers, followed by edible blueberry-like fruits in early summer. Foliage turns brilliant shades of yellow to red in the fall, adding seasonal interest.
